Reality of Women in India
Reality of Women in India
We feel happy about reaching Moon and being the citizen of the Nation that reaches Mars on the first try, We do always feel Proud of being Indian, and a habit of glorifying our past, but the question is
"How much we want to improve today..??"
Share this Blog with all your family member, and your friends as wrong mindsets are meant to be changed and awareness are meant to be spread.
If I ask you where a female is unsafe? So most people will say that females are unsafe when they are outside the House. They are at the most risk outside Houses. When they are travelling to the unknown places. I also believed this, until I got the data. And, I share that data with you too. "The Images of Survey you see are Page-Embed and they'll take you to research website by simply tapping it"
To date, out of all the cases of Physical violence against girls, 70% of them occurred inside the House. And till date, out of all the rape cases that occured 90% of the cases have been done in the victim's house by their acquaintances, far-relatives, or neighbors. The chances of girl's money being stolen outside the house, there are more chances that money is taken from her in the house without her consent. We as an Indian Society kills 5 Lakh girls every year just because they are girls in the ways like- Foeticide, Dumping new born baby girls in Dustbins etc. and conditions are more harsh in States like Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Bihar. (Reference: Female Feticide in India).
63 Million females (6 Crores 30 Lakhs) females were killed by illegal feticide till yet in India just because they are girls and they are on-record. These all decisions are taken inside the house without any fear of Constitution, Judiciary and Government, because everyone has a lot of empire in India, and everyone needs a Boy to run their lineage or to occupy/enjoy their Will. Even the person who is smoking a cigarette in debt also needs a descendant to run his empire. And the data I'm sharing with you is by the Government and some most-reputed Non-Government Non-profit Organization. And I'll provide all the links below in this Blog.
After Seeing the data, I understood that women are more unsafe inside in their Houses than outside. And Girls are the second priority of People. Females contributes to 48% of total population of India, so have you ever wondered- "Why 48% are the second priority to the people?".
So it's reason is pretty simple, 'The weak one is always suppressed. Only the one who can beat you will dare to mess with you.' Before you guys entitle me as a Misogynist, Let me clear it these words aren't mine. Does what I wrote above means- Are Girls weak? So the answer is NO. God has made both Boy and Girl Equal, kept the similarity in both. Yeah there are some differences but they are meant so Reproduction Cycle can be completed. And those difference has nothing to do with who will lift heavy weights, who drives better, who can run households better, who are meant to earn for the house and who are meant to work in the Kitchen.
If physical strength was that relevant then Wrestlers must be ruling the world, that does imply that Girls aren't weak. Rather they are made purposely weak and girls are made weak under the proper planning. And it's training start from childhood. We give Guns and Cars like toys to the Kids, while we give Kitchen and Dolls like toys to girls. There are lot of you guys who denies this fact but this is what I've seen with my eyes and everyone knows that so need to scoff at that. When a girl is born, the toys we give to them are caring or co-operative types, while when boy is born, we give him aggressive and competitive type of toys. It's not the Kids choice it's our choice, the way we want to transform them.
I've seen a lot of people saying 'running like a girl', 'crying like a girl', when parents say all these things to the boy. So along with him, his sister is also listening to these things. So what impact would be created on her mind? 'Is running like a Girl a bad thing?' or 'Is crying like a girl a bad thing?'
At a particular age, girls are taught how to sit, where to go, what time to get home. But for boys there is full freedom. A boy can unzip his pants on road to urinate, and that's a very normal thing. But at the same time if a girls wears a skirt that's a very abnormal thing. Now if we see what's more abnormal?
Whether a girl has done PHD, but if she want to go out, A 10-Year old boy is sent with her. To be Honest if a Girl is under threat then a 10 year old boy can not do anything about it, but then also a 10-year old boy is sent with her. And when that boy grows up, he thinks himself as very strong and protective and thinks girl is weak. From childhood, this training of such level that it dominates the mind of boys. They can lose anything with anyone in the world but can't tolerate a lose against a girl. A Boy is most vulnerable when gets rejected by a girl and somewhere this is the reason behind these attacks and rapes, and the same psychology is followed by them.
A person needs the Money most in their Life as compared to other things, but a bank doesn't get robbed everyday. Because everyone knows that system in the Bank is very strong, because they know if they will rob they will get caught. Yes, there is no death sentence on robbing a bank, but they will get caught. But rape cases occurs everyday because criminal thinks that victim is a weak. And if he commits a crime, he can escape from it very easily. The same psychology is behind domestic violence, The social institutes make sure that before marriage itself through some rituals, this thing is kept in mind that a girl is weaker than a boy. And it's not about one religion, you can see any religion. Whether a girls flies a plane or a fighter jet, but on the day of marriage, she has to walk slowly to get on stage, and that too four people had to hold her to get there on stage. At the same time, a boy is chill and for that day he is made a Pseudo-King and for that being a Pseudo-King for a day, He has to pay EMI for his whole Life. And these are some unsaid-word by which it is told who's a owner and who's a servant. Our society make sure that there's nothing in the hands of girls, yeah I know a lot of people at this point that my family has different environments but this is the truth of 80% of Indian Households and I'm not saying it but this is the data available on Internet.
If I ask you I've property of 1 Million Dollars and I've two Children, How much would each child receive? Your answer is 500,000 each right? But in Indian Household criteria is different, Father will cry from the day of their daughter birth about Dowry and they give 5% of their property to Girl as a dowry and rest 95% is being occupied by other son. No Dowry isn't a right thing, but unequal-inheritance of property on Gender-basis is bad too. Talking about that 5% is actually belongs to the girls but in reality her husbands decide what to do with the money. If she want to travel from that, want to buy a car from that or want to invest it somewhere, She is straightforwardly not allowed to do this. The money is hers but what to do with money is decided by someone else.
One more thing to be noticed in Indian Household that everyone ignores irrespective of their genders is, If a family affords to educate a single child in his family they'll prefer educating boys over girls, no matter how talented is a girl child. And incase if they educate their daughter then they assume that we have provided her education now she will not lose. The thing is When she don't have anything in her hands then no matter how educated she is she will be defeated. In their parents-home, She listens she has to go another-home, and in their in-law's house, she listens she is from another home. So what is their actual home is still a big mystery. And if you'll see the nameplate of any house, you'll never see the name of their daughter-in-law mentioned, so that they know when they get inside house they know who owns everything.
And heights of hypocrisy when a girls buys a house from her own money or does something for her parents, then also the credit goes to the boys. How? I mean You must have listened these lines at-least once in your lifetime 'Bhagwan ne toh humein beta diya hai (God gave a son to us)' .
One in Three women in India are subjected to domestic violence, and if you notice that if anyone does violence in this world, he do it for getting control. Like Russia invading Ukraine, USA and NATO over Syria, Iraq and Taliban over Afghanistan. Well, I'm not starting any type of Geopolitics here, my main aim to give to these examples are to make everyone understand the motto behind Violence. And the same thing is done in Indian Households too, first they are made financially weak and after that to make them more weaker, violence is used. Violence occurs differently and varies from home to home. Somewhere it's physical, financial or Mental harassment. Yes they all are different, but if we look at their structure they all are done for the same thing.
So let's understand the structure of this Domestic Violence cycle,
Domestic Violence work as cycle, for some months normal life will go on, then domestic violence and then manipulation, then for sometime normal life will go on, then domestic violence and then again manipulation. And in this manipulation, it is often explained to you that this is being done for your benefit. Some people will say male aggression is the reason behind this. Whereas there is no such thing like male aggression. Sri Ram, Sri Krishna, Arjuna, Bhima, Karna, Mahatma Gandhi, Ambedkar, Swami Vivekananda, there was no bigger man than them but never showed aggression in their life. Yeah they did but that against Bad things of the society not to the good things and those aggression aren't considered as domestic violence.
And if there are something like male aggression, then it should be same everywhere. A male gets scolded by female boss and does not raise hands. There are female colleagues, does not raise hand on them. There are many females on the way, does not raise hand. At home too there are many females, does not raise hands. He knows his territory well, he only raise his hands on her only. And whenever you hears a case of domestic violence, you will notice one thing. Only the man that is unsuccessful in his life raises his hands on the girl.
According to our constitution, no man can raise his hands on anyone, no matter what the situation is. But out of every three women hand is raised on one. That does means 33% of Men in India are criminals according to our Indian Constitution, they are left over only because no-one had complained about them. We can discuss the Police stance in comments because different states have different standards.
You can see the example of any developed country, You'll see the contribution of Boys and Girls are equal in their economy, defense and infrastructure. No country can do any sort of progress by entitling their 48% of population as Incapable. Same thing happens in Home, those houses progress more where Males and Females both are capable. According to our constitution both men and women are equal. But not according to our society, that implies either society should change constitution or should accept that whatever is going on ritually or traditionally is wrong.
Again coming to the point from where I have started, We feel happy about reaching Moon and being the citizen of the Nation that reaches Mars on the first try, but How's that even an achievement when 48% of India's population are suggested to reach home before 6 o'clock evening. That does means 48% of population gets inside the physical curfew everyday and again we don't say anything to the boys because there are doing their job, right?
My Question is
Is He even a Human who enjoys the touch of girl's shoulder in the bus..??
Right to Equality, Right to freedom, Right against exploitation all these are worthless in India and there can be No greater war than this today. Women around the world work as much as Men, but still 99% of Judges are male, 80% of seats in Parliament are occupied by Males, 72% of all property are on the name of males. After listening all this you must be thinking IF MEN ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS?The answer is NO, Whatever I have written till yet is the thinking of the society, there are Males and Females who are in favour of this and those who fight against this thinking are Males and Females too.
Yes There exists things like Fake Feminism and Exploitation of Boys, I'll surely cover those topics too.
Thanks for Reading:-)

Sir, All of the above information given by you is undoubtedly true. I'll try my best to share this blog to most of my friends abd family to make them realize Girls and Boys both play equal role in development of a society and nation. Also I can notice these types of problems for girls even in my relatives family too. When it comes to property, education, job etc. boys always get more support.
ReplyDeleteThings need to be changed, older one may not change but we can start this change. Yesterday was bad, today will be a bit good and tomorrow will be better..
DeleteIn most of the states of India, when it comes to Dowry.. It seems like dowry system was never declared as illegal. That kind of things totally made me think about constitution and its importance in Society..
ReplyDeleteSimilar condition can be seen in Russia, appreciate you're raising voice on this...
ReplyDeleteEverything you wrote is so true, At first I was expecting stereotypes but you balanced it well
ReplyDeleteI know about the Indian Society but the stats you posted shocked me. Literally you wrote is so well, eventually me as a Girl can't express this much you expressed as a Boy..
ReplyDeleteThis could be a speech, I can speak on Women Empowerment but no-one will allow us to speak.. You wrote it literally well, and I want things to change, but at the end everything is useless..
ReplyDeleteThis is the first blog I've read on your page and it's good you talked about Equality but the thing is I support Equality of Opportunity other than Equality. According to a survey Females from Backward countries pursue study in STEM Fields whereas Females from Developed Countries do what they are interested in. According to me Equality of Opportunity is a thing to consider, while fight for equality is somewhat display rebellious nature and that's what fake feminism is, if MAN needs WOMAN and WOMAN needs MAN there's no need of competition among them. One simple thing why Women from backward countries pursue STEM courses is to prove themselves best and experience freedom while freedom is actually something else.
ReplyDeleteNo woman will go inside Manhole to clean it, very less women works in mines and oil fields and on the meters high tower fixing 1000s volt lines, There is nothing like Equality that'll just ruin society, instead Freedom of Choice, and Equality of Opportunity should be given..
